Telegram Stars Price: What 1,000 Stars Cost in USD

In the US App Store, the rate per Star shifts a little from package to package, and bigger isn't always better value. On Fragment the rate is flat: every amount from 50 to 10,000,000 Stars costs $0.015 per Star. Our guide to buying Stars on Fragment shows how that works.

App Store prices differ by country: the UK store listed 1,000 Stars at £18.49 on the same day. Telegram's Terms of Service for Stars also warn that local taxes may be added and that payment providers can apply their own conversion rates. Google Play shows only a combined price range for all of Telegram's in-app items, so the exact figure appears in the app.

How our prices work

We set our prices in US dollars. The price table, the calculator, the checkout and your invoice all show the same figure. It follows what the Stars cost us to deliver, so it can move from day to day, and the table shows when it was last updated.

How much crypto you send depends on the coin:

• USDT on TON: exactly one USDT for each dollar of the price.
• GRAM: the dollar price converted at a rate that includes a small buffer for price swings and stays locked for a limited time. If the timer runs out before you pay, refresh the amount on your order page.
• Other coins: the invoice is in US dollars, and the Heleket payment page shows the amount in the coin you pick. Heleket's processing fee is paid by us.

Orders start at 50 Stars and can be worth up to $300.00 each. Each payment option has a minimum amount, $0.80 with a TON wallet and $1.00 for other crypto through Heleket, so the smallest packages may not be available with every option; the checkout shows which ones you can pay for.

Using the Stars to USD calculator

Type any number of Stars into the calculator to see its price in US dollars, including amounts that aren't in the table, such as 1,234 or 7,500 Stars. It uses the same pricing as the checkout, so the result is what that order costs at that moment. The button under the result carries the number over to the order form, where you add the @username and choose how to pay.

Can you convert Telegram Stars to US dollars?

Only Stars that someone has earned. Stars you buy stay on your balance: the Stars terms don't allow them to be sold, withdrawn or transferred. Stars earned by a channel, a bot or a creator are different. Their owners can withdraw them via Fragment, where Telegram's terms for developers set the reward at the equivalent of $0.013 per Star, paid in GRAM. Newly earned Stars can take up to 21 days to become available. Owners can also spend them on Telegram Ads at $0.02 per Star. Telegram points out that this reward value has no connection to what buyers pay for Stars in any region.
