Gift by username
Your friend doesn't need to do anything
You can gift Telegram Premium to any Telegram user for 3, 6 or 12 months. There are three ways to do it: in the Telegram app with money or Stars, on Fragment with a connected crypto wallet, or here by username with USDT, GRAM (formerly TON) or other crypto. This guide walks through each one and explains the Premium gift links that giveaway winners receive.

Your friend doesn't need to do anything
Paid once, never renews
Usually within a minute after payment confirmation
We check the @username and active Premium before you pay
In Telegram and by e-mail
Your friend gets Premium on their account with a Telegram notification about the gift; your e-mail address and payment details stay private.
Every Premium gift is prepaid for 3, 6 or 12 months, doesn't renew and ends without charging anyone. Gifts use one global rate, so you can send one to a friend in another country. What differs is how you pay and what you need.
| Way | You pay with | You need |
|---|---|---|
| Telegram app | Your App Store, Google Play or @PremiumBot payment method, or Stars | Your Telegram account |
| Fragment | GRAM, USDT or USDC | A crypto wallet connected to Fragment and a Telegram login |
| TgSuperstars | USDT, GRAM or other crypto | Only your friend's @username |
If Premium is missing from the gift options, your friend may have turned off Premium gifts under Settings > Privacy and Security > Gifts, in the list of accepted gift types.
All you need is your friend's @username.
Pick 3, 6 or 12 months of Telegram Premium. You see the price in US dollars before you pay.
Type their Telegram @username. We check that it is a personal account without active Premium before you pay.
Pay from a TON wallet in a few taps, send USDT or GRAM from an exchange with the order memo, or pay in another coin on the Heleket payment page.
It is activated on your friend's account once the payment is confirmed, usually within a minute.
Since March 2025, the Send a Gift screen also lets you pay for Premium from your Stars balance. Telegram's Bot API sets the price at 1,000 Stars for 3 months, 1,500 Stars for 6 months and 2,500 Stars for a year. It is a good use of Stars you already have. If you would have to buy the Stars first, the same gift paid in dollars on Fragment costs less than the Stars would; compare the options in our Telegram Premium price guide.
On Fragment's Buy Telegram Premium page, you enter your friend's username under Choose recipient, pick a term under Choose duration, select a payment method and press Gift Telegram Premium. Fragment takes GRAM, USDT and USDC from a crypto wallet connected to the site. The wallet steps are the same as in our guide to buying on Fragment.
Use the form at the top of this page. You only need your friend's username; they don't need to do anything. A few things to know:
Some Premium gifts come as a link instead: t.me/giftcode/ followed by a code. Telegram sends these from its service account to giveaway winners and to people a channel or group chose to gift Premium to. The link opens a Gift Link card with the sender, the recipient, the duration and the date.
A genuine gift link opens inside Telegram and never asks for your phone number or login code. Telegram says login codes should never be shared with anyone, including other services or apps. Gifts from TgSuperstars never come as links: Premium is activated on the account directly.

Answers about buying Telegram Premium with crypto.
Not through Fragment or our checkout: both refuse a gift for an account with an active subscription, and we tell you before you pay. Telegram's own API documentation describes gifting Premium to users who don't have it yet. A gift link is the exception: its owner can keep it and activate it after their current subscription ends.
In the app, the gift appears in your chat with them, so they see who sent it. When you order here, Premium arrives with a Telegram notification about the gift, but your name, e-mail and wallet are not shown, so let them know yourself.
No. Telegram ties Premium to individual users; channels, groups and bots can't have it. Channel admins can run a Premium giveaway for their subscribers instead.
It starts when the gift is activated and lasts the full 3, 6 or 12 months. It doesn't renew: when it ends, the account returns to free Telegram unless its owner subscribes.
Yes. Telegram uses one global rate for gifts so that they can be sent to and from users in any country, and your friend doesn't pay anything, unless Premium itself isn't available where they live.
